How do I create an account?
Download Volley from the App Store, open the app, and sign up with Apple, Google, or email. Account creation takes about 30 seconds.
Which sports does Volley support?
Volley supports nine sports with full sport-specific scoring rules: tennis, padel, pickleball, table tennis, badminton, squash, racquetball, basketball, and volleyball. More sports are added regularly based on user requests.
How does the rating system work in Volley?
Every ranked match updates your rating based on the result and the difficulty of your opponent. Beating a higher-rated player gains you more points than beating a lower-rated one. Volley tracks your rating per sport, per category, and an overall Athlete rating averaged across everything you play.
How do I score a match?
Tap "New Match" from the home screen, pick your sport, choose your opponent, and start scoring. Volley handles the rules — deuce, tiebreaks, rally scoring, sets, games, points — automatically based on the sport you picked.
Can I score a doubles match?
Yes. When you create a match, choose Doubles or Pairs and add a partner alongside the two opponents. Doubles matches affect each player's rating just like singles.
How do tournaments work?
Volley supports three formats: single elimination (knockout brackets), round robin (everyone plays everyone), and pool play (groups feeding into a playoff bracket). You can run a tournament from your phone with registration, seedings, live brackets, and automatic standings.
How do payments work?
If you create a paid group or tournament, members and entrants pay through the app using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card. Payments are processed by Stripe and your earnings are paid out to your bank account every 2-3 days.
Is Volley free?
Yes, Volley is free to download and use. The free tier includes scoring, player ratings, friends, groups, and tournaments. Charter and Founding Member tiers unlock advanced stats, rating history charts, club creation, and paid groups. See our pricing page for the full breakdown.
How do I cancel my Charter subscription?
Charter is billed through your App Store account. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, find Volley, and tap Cancel.
What is the Founding Membership offer?
The Founding Membership is a one-time payment of $119.99 for lifetime access to every Volley premium feature, plus a permanent Founding Member badge and exclusive avatar border. It's available until May 19, 2026 — once it's gone, it's gone.
When will Volley be on Android?
Volley is currently available on iOS via TestFlight, with the public App Store launch coming soon. Android is in development and will follow shortly after.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your account and personal data are deleted within 30 days. If you can't access the app for any reason, email us at the address below and we'll handle it manually.
I found a bug or have a feature request — how do I report it?
Email hello@joinvolley.club. Every email is read by the developer personally and bug fixes typically ship within a week.
