Is Volley a free tennis scoring app?
Yes. Volley is free on iOS and Android. Score unlimited tennis matches, track your rating, and run tournaments without paying anything. Premium features (Charter and Founding Member tiers) add extras like advanced analytics, but all the core scoring is free.
Does Volley handle no-ad and Fast4 tennis scoring?
Yes. Both are toggles you set at the start of the match. No-ad replaces deuce with a single sudden-death point. Fast4 sets are first to four games, no-ad, with a tiebreak at 3-3. You don't have to think about it after that — Volley just applies the rules.
Can I score a tennis match from my Apple Watch?
Yes. Volley has an Apple Watch companion. Tap the side that won the point on your wrist, the score updates on your phone in real time. You can leave the phone in your bag and play.
What's a good tennis rating?
Volley uses four tiers — Club (recreational), Competitor (regular tournament play), Master (strong club / regional), and Pro (top-level). Most weekend players sit in the Club or Competitor tier. Your rating climbs as you beat people above you and stalls if you only play people below you.
Can I run a tennis tournament with Volley?
